Nadine Coyle Confirms Girls Aloud re-union

Nadine Coyle has confirmed that Girls Aloud will 'defiantly' re-unite in 2012 for their 10th anniversary.

Nadine told Dean Kelly, internet radio host, that her and the girls have discussed a 10 year anniversary event. While doing that, she also cleared up that she and the other girls still talk, despite what the press have claimed in these past couple of months.

Nadine said: "We always discuss doing a ten-year reunion thing. So that's going to be next year. We're definitely going to do something. But it's a whole huge production. Girls Aloud is not just us five, there's, like, us five plus a ridiculous team of 50 who travel with us, it's amazing."

Girls Aloud manager, Hilary Shaw, confirmed earlier this year that the girls would do something, but it would be very unlikely that it would be a new album.

Even though they will be doing a re-union, it only looks to be a few gigs or a one off thing. Maybe Girls Aloud will never actually re-unite.

Will Harry Potter finally get an Oscar Nomination?

It's something no Harry Potter film has done - and it should have - gone to the Oscars and won.

But with the major success of 'Deathly Hallows: Part 2', is it too big for the Oscars to ignore anymore?

The film, 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2' was released on Friday 15th, and broke records over the weekend. It also broke records on it's first day earning $91 million, knocking 'New Moon' by the Twilight saga from the top spot.

Harry Potter has been the highest earning series, over-taking both Star Wars and James Bond.

You'd think that with all the success from the films, it would have earned an Oscar by now, but apparently not.

The Oscar's seem to think that the Harry Potter films are 'silly', and that 'no fantasy film can win'.

But 'Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King' was once nominated for 11 awards at the Oscar's, and won all 11!

'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' went to the Oscars with three nominations, but did not win.

Other films of the Harry Potter series went to the Oscars, too - 'Prisoner of Azkaban', 'Deathly Hallows Part 1', 'Goblet of Fire' and 'Half Blood Prince'.

With all of the work and great acting that went into the film, it should really achieve an Oscar. But we'll have to wait and see!

J.K Rowling Avoids Claims of Plagiarism

It's been going on for seven years now, but J.K Rowling has finally managed to avoid being accused of stealing another authors work.

A claim was made that the Harry Potter author stole the story 'Goblet of Fire' from Jacobs' book, 'Willy the Wizard'.

The claim failed to go through after the court did not get a deadline payment.

The deadline was 4pm on last Friday, and the person who claimed this failed to pay in the sum of £1.5 million.

A representative for Bloomsbury said: "They have not paid the money into court. The whole thing is a scandal - it has been going on for seven years. It was an absolutely ludicrous case."

J.K Rowling said the claims were 'absurd', and had never heard of the book until the claims surfaced.
It's thought that the author of 'Willy the Wizard' made the claims to help promote the book.

While 'The Goblet of Fire' held 734 pages, 'Willy the Wizard' only held 16, making the judge state the point that it was 'entirely devoid of a moral message or intellectual depth'.

New Harry Potter film breaks Box Office Records!

It was the movie of the year! The movie we were all looking forward too. And when it finally arrived, many of us wished we could start it all over again...

Many Potter fans - like me - will be glad to know that 'Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows: Part 2' has broken box office records in it's first weekend!

But not just that one weekend! It also broke a record for most views in the first opening day, earning $91 million, knocking 'Twilight Saga: New Moon' off the top spot.

It also beat the new Batman film.

Despite the success of the film, the 3D version only managed to attract 43% of the success, but it did indeed help!

Let's hope that this film will be able to keep this record, as it's the film!

Well done, Harry Potter! J.K Rowling...new book please?

Cheryl Cole Moving To LA?

Another day, another Ashley Cole and Cheryl Cole rumour...

It is now claimed that the Girls Aloud star has spent £3million on a home in LA, dubbed a 'lovenest', in the hopes she can tempt Ashley Cole there.

It's reported that Cheryl hoped she would be able to re-ignite the relationship she once had with love-rat Ashley, but after claims surfaced recently that Ashley had slept with an air hostess, Cheryl is said to be absolutely devastated.

The new home is on Century City, and over looks the Avenue of the Stars. It's quite close to Beverly Hills, and Cheryl couldn't wait to show it off to Ashley, emailing him photos of the apartment.

A friend of Cheryl's said: “She knows how much Ashley loves Los Angeles and thought it would be brilliant to have a place he could come and stay with her. She even thought he might be tempted to join David Beckham at LA Galaxy."

The friend of Cheryl's went on to say: “But once again she has been let down badly by him, just as her friends and family warned her he would. Cheryl is feeling a bit foolish as she thought Ashley had changed.”

A love rat never changes!

Cheryl is now going to live in the Beverly Hill's apartment alone, and finds it will be easier to record tracks for her new album, which is said to reflect on Cheryl's few un-easy years.

My Moment - Better or Worse than Friday?

Rebecca Black has been in the public eye for awhile now since her music video to her song 'Friday' became a YouTube hit.

I say hit, but it became one of those sensational videos that are made fun of.

She received numerous death threats and hate comments, and handled it all very well!

Her latest 'moment' in the public eye was starring in Katy Perry's music video for 'Last Friday Night'.

But now, Rebecca Black has released her new single, 'My Moment', in the hopes it will give her credit as an artist and shed that whole 'Friday' girl image.

The song is about how Rebecca was made fun of and told she wouldn't make it, but how it's all started to have taken off and she's living in her moment. The song states that it's her moment, and she will enjoy it. Forget the haters.

But, is 'My Moment' better or worse than 'Friday'?

Well, in the sense of a song, it is so much better than 'Friday'! It doesn't have lyrics like, 'Yesterday was Thursday, Thursday. Today it is Friday, Friday.' But has meaningful lyrics that I'm sure someone in the world can relate to.

But, as a song, it's incredibly boring! She's a 14 year old girl, and she is singing a ballad, slow song. Her image seems to be trying to achieve an older feeling. Something that Rebecca Black is not.

This was 'her moment' to show everyone that she was so much better than 'Friday', and I think she achieved that in one way. But the song should have been so much more fun and upbeat. I guarantee that if she had done that, she would have gotten great success and a better reaction.

'My Moment' is defiantly something I was not expecting, and I don't think anyone else was, either.

The video for 'My Moment' is below! Leave your comments on your thoughts.
