It's something no Harry Potter film has done - and it should have - gone to the Oscars and won.
But with the major success of 'Deathly Hallows: Part 2', is it too big for the Oscars to ignore anymore?
The film, 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2' was released on Friday 15th, and broke records over the weekend. It also broke records on it's first day earning $91 million, knocking 'New Moon' by the Twilight saga from the top spot.
Harry Potter has been the highest earning series, over-taking both Star Wars and James Bond.
You'd think that with all the success from the films, it would have earned an Oscar by now, but apparently not.
The Oscar's seem to think that the Harry Potter films are 'silly', and that 'no fantasy film can win'.
But 'Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King' was once nominated for 11 awards at the Oscar's, and won all 11!
'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' went to the Oscars with three nominations, but did not win.
Other films of the Harry Potter series went to the Oscars, too - 'Prisoner of Azkaban', 'Deathly Hallows Part 1', 'Goblet of Fire' and 'Half Blood Prince'.
With all of the work and great acting that went into the film, it should really achieve an Oscar. But we'll have to wait and see!
