Cheryl Cole is kicking off the new year on a romantic ski trip with dancer Derek Hough.
The X Factor judge cancelled Christmas in LA with him, and it seems as though Cheryl wants to make it up to him by spending new years with him.
Though Derek and Cheryl did see each other yesterday, both going on Skype and talking excitedly about new years.
Derek has booked a private villa in Rocky Mountains in north-west America.
