Fern Britton has been confirmed to take over Paul O'Grady's slot on Channel 4.
The former This Morning presenter will be presenting her first solo show.
She has beaten Peter Andre, Vernon Kay and Lenny Henry to the slot.
Fern told The Mirror: “I am very excited about being in on the start of a brand new show. I’m working with a great team and together we shall rise to the challenge.”
Helen Warner, a C4 boss said: "Whether she’s interviewing ordinary people, Hollywood stars or prime ministers, there is no one better than Fern. For me, she is the British answer to Oprah."
